Live in a semi-rural area on over 6 acres with husband, two children, 1 dogs, 2 cats and 2 parrots. I started gardening 8 years ago. Before then, I had had no particular interest in gardening. I was born in Maryland and have lived here all my life. Have traveled to Germany, Switzerland, England, Ireland, France and Holland. I've been married for 25 years to a lawyer who works in downtown DC. My youngest just started college this fall and my oldest, a daughter, is spending 7 months in France teaching high school English.
